Sally, me and PGP.

Three years ago, I met Sally and she gave me my life back. I suffered with severe PGP in the last trimester of pregnancy, and was only pain free 8 months post partum. Now, I am a volunteer for the Pelvic Partnership, and last November I had the privilege of chatting with her on their behalf.

The knowledge Sally shared so freely with the Pelvic Partnership will hopefully help a great number of women suffering with pregnancy related Pelvic Girdle  Pain (symphysis pubis dysfunction). We talked about:

  • What PGP is.
  • The common symptoms.
  • Treatment methods.
  • How it impacts you physically.
  • The impact on your mental health.
  • It's impact on day-to-day lifestyle.
  • Birth planning.
  • How long you could suffer with PGP.
  • Subsequent pregnancy advice.
  • Advice for people with PGP.

You can watch the full video above, or you can listen to the audio here

If you're suffering with pregnancy related pelvic pain, visit my recommendations page for guidance on who to go to to get help.
